Villa Gualdana
Villa Gualdana's architecture reflects the style of the early 1800s, thanks to renovations by Giuseppe Luigi Cavagna, the Mayor of Voghera, who was honored by King Carlo Alberto as the first Count of Gualdana. He was the first of his lineage to reside in the house year-round, but it was his son Giacinto who updated the villa's appearance just before the reunification of Italy, introducing a more 'modern' look. The villa features a neoclassical design, with a main façade connected to the grounds behind by a central gallery, where the primary reception rooms are located
